Pain during and after sex

Hi,

Just a need a bit of advice, the last couple of months I've had pain during and after sex it's like a cramping like period cramps that travels to my back. It's very uncomfortable but it also happens when my bladder is full and when I'm about to have a bowel movement it feels like pressure it's really weird. It don't sting when I do wee either. I've ordered an STD/STI test just to rule that out. Last night I had sexual intercourse and after the cramps and the discomfort were awful it's been lasting all day today too and it travels in my sides 😔 and I bloat really bad! I'm going to ring the doctors in the morning and see if I can have a scan booked because it's defo the ovaries has anyone else had this? Or experienced this?

Only when I had Chlamydia. It wouldn't do any harm to go to a GUM clinic for a screen and this is their area anyway, so the best place to get to the bottom of it even if there isn't an infection.

The last time I was there I didn't have an infection but was referred for a scan of my ovaries and a blood test.

What other symptoms did you have with chlamydia? I'm soo worried I've got it 😬🙈 it's awful and soo uncomfortable too!

I've had something similar but it was when my piles were flaring up. Absolute agony for hours afterwards with cramping. You've not got piles have you?

I've had them since I gave birth to my daughter they won't go! She's now 15 months old.

I find the suppositories really help. Germoloids suppositories

I'd definitely get checked for STIs just in case though.

I’ll look for the suppositories tomorrow yes I’ve got a kit coming to test for STI/STD hoping I don’t have one of those 🤦🏼‍♀️😬
