Hi, I’ve been on the depo for 3 years and had no problems whatsoever… until last week that is. Where I’ve had the most painful Heavy period it’s been 8 days, I’m soaking through super plus tampons within two hours 😞 I’m so tired and feel weak.. I’ve been to the Gp who wanted to do a pelvic exam there and then which I wasn’t comfortable with as the flow is so heavy and painful, she did send me away with some tablets to stop the bleeding and said I had to come back to have the examination once ithad stopped. Has anyone else had this after being on the depo for a long while? I’m obviously concerned as this ain’t normal for me.. 😢
prior to this the depo did stop my periods completely
