hi about a month ago I started with werid pains like period cramps but like a pressure feeling in pelvis as well I thought it was a uti so went to the gps. no uti but coil strings aren't they got sent to a and e cause she thought I may have p.i. d. ruled out p.i.d they couldnt find the coil either but he also said pain is unlikely to be because of the coil moved. I'm having a ultrasound on Tuesday so hopefully find it . I don't really get period pains so its not my normal I'm on period now I'm bleeding normal but constant period pain and bad back. does anybody know if they find it when have scan will they try to remove it there and then . I'm meant to be going abroad in 6 weeks so really want it sorting first or am I dreaming there . last year we had to cancel holiday as my partner was diagnosed with cancer the day before we was due to go so as u can imagine we are really looking forward to a holiday. plus I've never been abroad before so yeah couldn't of been a worse time really. sorry for long post. any advice welcome thank you
also my coil was there in 2022 when. I had my last smear .

I started bleeding last year, GP sent me for an ultrasound which showed it had dropped down in my womb. Then referred for hysteroscopy where they would have put it back in the right place, but it had moved itself back by then .
Funnily enough I’ve just started bleeding again.
