I had uti symptoms last week, treated with nitrifuranton 5 days. Symptoms eased but not gone. GP insistent my wee lab results all clear. I am still seeing a lot and have horrible burning almost itching in my urethra constantly.
I saw gp mon to be diagnosed with a chest infection and he said wasn't sure about the wee thing but it would go away once I felt better. It's not, it feels like my wee hole and maybe clitoris in on fire. Is this just irritated from having a uti?
I been given swabs and another urine test with powder in to take in tomorrow morning. Def not sti, I've taken thrush pessary and cystitis reliefs. Even my knickers feel like they are rubbing and cussing pain.
We go abroad for the first time in 8 years a week on Thursday so I'm just desperate for it to be sorted and with both things at once just feel so crap and anxious about it.
