Long line dent in Breast

Hi, I know I can’t get an exact answer on here but wondered if anyone had had something similar……

I have a long (approx 2 inch) vertical line down the side of my right breast. It looks like I took my credit card and pressed it into the breast! It’s only there when I raise my arm then It flattens out.

I have been referred to the breast clinic and have my appointment tomorrow and I’m bricking it!!

Im also thinking it could be a stretch mark. Just wondered if anyone has had something similar and what the outcome was?

Hi. Yes, I had (have) something just like this. I noticed it about 12 years ago. I was referred to breast clinic and had an ultrasound and mammogram, and was given the all clear.
Consultant said it was likely caused by changes in my weight (I'd put on, and then lost, quite a bit due to pregnancy).

I had this, it was a collapsed cyst.

Thank you that’s reassuring. I had my first baby last year at 40 so my boobs have been through a lot with gaining and losing weight so it would make sense with all the changes why it would appear. I will update later with how I get on

Just an update for anyone reading this in the future

Mammogram and ultrasound all clear. The consultant said that lines are very rarely anything sinister but for peace of mind always get it checked.

if you are ever unsure please check for peace of mind it’s worth it
