PCOS making me feel so ugly

Hello😊was just wondering if anyone else has experiences on this or any advice 😊

I am 24 and struggle badly and severely with PCOS. I was diagnosed at the young age of 16-17 when I rushed to hospital with suspected appendicitis they removed my appendix but then discovered it was actually nothing to do with that and my ovaries were covered in cysts! I have both the cysts on the ovaries (in every scan they find them) & also the hormone condition.
I have severe hair growth all over my toes back belly but the worst is my face- when I shave it off it grows back in hours I can feel the stubble. Can only literally go 1 day without shaving until it is noticeable. The most upsetting symptom though is the facial bloating. My stomach bloats but when I have a really bad flare up like now with the pain and spots and hair- my face really gets puffy and fills with fluid it looks extremely bloated and my eyes droop down. It’s not fatness because when I roll and drain it with a jade roller or gua sha and drink lots of water it goes down :(

im just wondering if any other lovely ladies suffer too especially with the daily hair growth and bloated puffy face!! They get me down the most.
my periods did begin to come back on metformin but I’ve missed one this month however I have all Pms symptoms (sore breasts, breaking out, cramps, very snappy). No period in sight.
the doctors don’t want to know unless I want to fall pregnant (I really don’t right now and you need a man for that! lol!). I refuse to take the pill because my hormones are all over the place anyway and I’m a big girl I can’t afford to gain a pound more!
im just wondering if anyone else struggles ?? 🤍

Have you tried Topical eflornithine for the hair growth?
I used this when l had PCOS. I didn't get bloated.
I also had Endometriosis.. l lost count of the number of ovarian cysts l had removed.
After l had my 2nd baby ( after a miscarriage and ectopic) l had a total hysterectomy.
I was 38.
I'm sorry you're going through this.
Also have you asked if lazer is available on NHS due to your condition.

I have PCOS and am 43, was diagnosed at 19….for me weight control has been the most effective, along with taking metformin regularly….for me I have to severely restrict carbs, which is hard because I love bread….but once I got my weight down and became more active everything else got better, including the excess hair and my mental health. It’s a bloody awful condition, I have hair loss to, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone….
