Period after hysteroscopy & polypectomy

Hi, doing new thread with different question.

How long did your period last (medium to heavy bleeding) after a hysteroscopy and polyp removal? No GA. I had a day in between bleeding from it and period starting. Feeling unsure of when I'm allowed to start using tampons again, guessing not this cycle? Advised against it to prevent infection. Hoping I don't have more than the normal 5-7 days this heavy! Thank you :)

I stopped bleeding after my hysteroscopy after a couple of days. I had polyps removed and then I haven’t bled since, but I am 59 and have gone through the menopause. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. I’m sure by your next cycle you’ll be healed and able to use tampons again. Goose luck.
