Please please help I'm so so uncomfortable 😭

I've developed a rash today that the pharmacist said is just eczema but it definitely isn't that!

It started as one splodge and has now spread across my whole hairline with a couple dotted further back. They're totally flat, not at all dry or flakey.

I tried an antihistamine but it made no difference, not even a little relief so I don't think it's an allergy?

But my goodness my whole scalp feels like it's sunburnt, it's so sore and itchy! And not just where the splodges are!

I've not used any new products or treatments, or any new washing powder for clothes etc. Total mystery.

I don't want to waste GPs time so just wondered if anyone has had a similar thing as Dr Google had nothing!

How can I make the burning stop? My hair is freshly washed!

Could this be shingles? I’d go to a Walk in Centre and get some advice

I thought possibly shingles too based on your description of pain. Hope you get sorted and get some relief x
