Fluid in cervical canal?

Hi

I had a transvaginal ultrasound yesterday morning about some irregular bleeding I had.
The lady scanning me said all was fine but I received a message from the doctors not long after my appointment saying I could contact them to discuss results.
The doctor rung me yesterday afternoon (he's a locum but I persuaded them to get a Dr to ring me yesterday as I was anxious about it all)
He said nothing abnormal was seen but they've noted that I had some fluid in my cervical canal and he doesn't know if that needs further investigation or not. How can he not know?? I kind of wish I hadn't spoken to him and waited to speak to my regular Dr as he has made me even more anxious. He said he's sending a note to the specialist at the hospital to ask them what it means.
The only other thing noted was that I have a very tilted cervix but this isn't news to me as I've got to have my smear done at the hospital soon as the nurses at my Dr's surgery couldn't find my cervix.
Has anyone had this on an ultrasound before please?
