Gender Health Gap Survey

Hello,

I hope you are well!

I have endometriosis myself and am very passionate about the Gender Health Gap. As many women I have spoken too that have this awful condition have said "If men had this, it would have been solved years ago!"

I am an MA Illustration student and I am hoping that some of you may be kind enough to share your stories.

I am requesting your participation in a research study to gain an understanding of people’s personal experiences with the Gender Health Gap and women’s health. Should you choose to participate, you will be able to answer optional questions about your experiences with:
· gender health inequality
· the health care areas you experienced the inequality
· the impact on your physical and your mental health.

The questions will be optional and all answers will remain anonymous. You reserve the right to withdraw your participation at any time.

Should you be interested in participating, please find the link to the survey here: forms.gle/8V6pSkRztB8xBEzC9

Surely that should be sex, not gender?

A) Only one sex gets endometriosis.

B) Your survey is excluding the many people who don’t consider themselves to have a gender identity.

C) For those who do identify as a gender identity, it’s likely to be far less relevant to their health needs than their biological sex is.

D) How do you decide which of the people in your survey might get endometriosis and which might not?

E) How do you define ‘women’s health’ as mentioned in your OP?
