Is this boob thing peri?

I've got some signs of Peri at 42, mostly managed with life style changes and vitamins.
Except for my left boob...a lot of intermittent non cyclical pain for last 2 years. Had an ultrasound and mammogram about 14 months ago. All fine. Another breast check with my gp about 6 weeks ago. It's started tingling around nipple area and going into armpit the last few weeks. It's slightly bigger than the right too. Have some mild tingles but no pain in right. It's so sore and I hate it being touched. Is this peri? Bad fitting bra? The rib underneath is sore too. No lumps or other changes.
My mind goes crazy with inflammatory breast cancer worries. My mum had BC in her late 40s. Won't the gp think I'm a bit of a knob if I go back again?

No- go back. You have family history, I don’t think boob pain is usual in peri. I don’t have any. Go back.

I would go back too OP, I do get breast pain but pretty much always both boobs, never just one. You need your mind putting at ease at the very least so go back and ask for repeat mammogram etc, completely understandable with your family history that you need checking and reassurance.

I had significant breast pain during Peri-menopause, which I had never had before, even during pregnancy. I was a year younger than you are now, too. Breast pain is actually quite common during peri-menopause.

Another vote for going back to the GP.

Go back ask for a mammogram again
I think you can ring the clinics yourself. To make an appointment

You need to get this double checked, especially with family history. Always better to be 102% sure than 95% sure.

Just to update I called gp this avo and they are seeing me at 5, so a bit scared but I'm glad I'm following up
