I used to have terribly painful periods when I was younger, before I started the pill.
After having kids, I was recommended the Mirena coil. I must say I am very happy with it ☺️☺️ oh if only the story ended there.....
This week I had a consultation with a different doctor. Upon learning my extensive family history of breast cancer, she advised me to change from the Mirena......
I have not heard the best reviews on the coil.... and I am scared ☹️ I don't want to go back to horrible periods! And also I don't really fancy increasing my chances of breast cancer either......
Please tell me your experience with the copper iud. Or maybe about contraception that doesn't increase the risk of breast cancer (not condoms.....). Thank you!
