Bloating - need advice

I'm 43 and experiencing bloating every day. It gets worse as the day goes on. I've never been diagnosed with any kind of IBS/D.

My main worry is an ovarian cause. I had an MRI scan in May 22 for a back strain and a small cyst was noted 'on one of the ovaries'. The report never said which one. A follow up ultrasound was booked but cancelled (I had covid) and never rebooked. Shortly after, I fell pregnant and had several US scans over a 3 month period (Nov 22-Jan 23) as unfortunately we lost our baby and I needed a couple of procedures.

I know cysts can come and go. A cyst surely would've been picked up at least one of these scans? I also then had a scan in May 23 as my periods hadn't returned. Nothing unusual was noted. Then another Ultrasound in Jan 24, left ovary and uterus normal, right ovary not seen.

Is there a chance something could be going on with my right ovary as it wasn't seen? My cycle has completely changed in the last 12 months, I bleed lighter but for longer and currently 10 days late, not pregnant, but look it. So worried and fed up.

Any advice or experience would be greatly received 😊

I'm not a doc, but I think that since you've been experiencing the bloating every day, you ought to get an appointment.

As I understand it, there can be many causes of bloating, some minor and some concerning, so it's best to get it checked.

Sending good wishes.
