Cyst on fallopian tube

Hello,

I was having stomach aches a few months ago so I was sent for bloods and a scan, because a few years ago I was having a similar pain and they found a large cyst in my stomach that had two litres of fluid in it. It still confuses me to this day what this was as no one ever really explained it and it sounds like it wasn't attached to anything,it was just floating around. Originally they though it was an ovarian cyst.

Anyway, in my recent scan they found a cyst on my fallopian tube and they have set up an appointment with a specialist as the Dr said it was an unusual place to have one.

Has anyone had a cyst in this location before? What was it? I've tired googling a few times and I can't really find much on cysts specifically on the fallopian tube.

I have my appointment soon anyway but I'm just so curious.

Thanks!

I had a cyst on my fallopian tube - benign and filled with fluid. I had probably always had it apparently but it had gradually grown over many years. They originally thought it was on my ovary. I had it removed via laparotomy surgery. All went well. Do hope you make a good recovery too.
