Altering period dates

IAmNOTBent · 12/06/2024 10:24

Unfortunately my holiday dates in August EXACTLY correspond with my period dates i.e. the first day of my 2 week holiday is the first day of my period. I know about Northisterone but I also some people really struggle with painful side effects. What other ways might I be able to adjust my period start date? I have a couple of months wiggle room which I hope helps.

Get the combined pill from boots online and start taking it. Don’t take the week off. It will stop your period (or certainly should do). Worked for me.

Thank you @SilverBranchGoldenPears. I've bought 3 months worth. Presumably I can start when it arrives and just continue until the end of the holiday?

I wanted to shift my period past my holiday but was worried about side effects while away, as taking progesterone for the first time(no need in the end as it was totally fine). I just bumped the period before by 10 days. Next period was then pushed back a month as well.
