Hi
TMI one, my period ended and I started getting right side pelvic pain not constant but it would come and go. No rhyme or reason as nothing would make it wore (possibly deep breathing out) I went to a doctor after ignoring it for 3 days. She said she wasn’t too sure, said could be a UTI, appendix or cyst. She prescribed me antibiotics for 3 days. I took the antibiotics and since finishing I just feel not 100% down there, struggling with retention so that makes me think I now do have UTI which is odd as surely antibiotics wouldn’t cause or make worse (I have had these antibiotics a few times now so worried resistance)
I then thought i’ll check below..as been feeling bit burny so maybe thrush from antibiotics I then seen this sitting in clit area. Panicked.

I did have my gallbladder removed and when I said to doc she said unreleated but I did find on google that sometimes missing stones can travel to this area. (I had complications of stones being left behind after removal into bile duct but i’m just not too sure) do I phone doc and take this or any idea what could be :( sorry x

Part of an old blood clot or those cast things?

https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/24742-decidual-cast

Reading that and looking that sounds!

the causes said etopic or contraceptives - that would be only thing not met as on none contraceptives and sex haven’t for months so no chances of that.
Period now been done over a week and thats today so do wonder if it could been! Thabk you

I would keep it and the pictures and show them to your doctor.

Definitely! I just hope this explains the pelvic pain etc!

Decidual cast. It’s a bit like a bloody, messy grape? I had one years back, convinced myself it was something else.

Did it cause any pain for you or symptoms after? X

@Laks19

TMI alert.
I was young, well about 20. I was out at the time in a bar. Like very bad period pain (I admit I have a low pain threshold, I’m also very squeamish and hate blood, and had low blood pressure, prone to fainting, I was also underweight around 7.5 stone at 5ft 6, student and not eating well!) I felt a bit sick, clammy, faint. Went to the loo and it came out. I wrapped it in tissue.

Felt fine after about 15 minutes? Just in shock, as thought it was a foetus.
I read about decidual cast on here and I’m sure it’s way more likely it was that but at the time I was in pain, felt sick and very upset.

Nothing at all after.
