Hi all,
I started taking Cerazette in January to control my heavy periods but I've been bleeding every single day since and we are now in June. Has anyone experienced this constant bleeding or taken 2 cerazette pills per day for a few weeks to stop this? I heard this works?. I'm getting pretty worn out with the constant bleeding now. Thanks in advance.

Years ago I went on Cerazette, just for normal birth control. I went from normal periods to bleeding all the time, plus it made me incredibly anxious, which is something I'd never experienced before.

I went back to GP and was prescribed a different pill which had no side effects.

I definitely wouldn't double the dose. You need to get back to GP for proper advice and perhaps more investigations.

Thank you I will do!!
Do you remember what the other pill was called and did this pill stop your periods permanently whilst you were on them?

I had this on Cerazette, things were all over the place

Now on Desogestrel and no issues. Only get a small bleed if multiple pills are missed

It was a long time ago but I' pretty certain it was Noriday. And yes, I had no bleeding at all.

Cerazettes is becoming a nightmare, nice to hear you've found something that suits you. What is the pill you're on now called?

Oh great thanks, I will go back to my GP and see what they suggest.

I think the pill can be messed up/less well absorbed if loose stools certainly after good 6 months on the pill this was where I reached but the solution to the pill was far worse in my opinion. I have heard of people taking double of the pill with certain gynaecologist issues.

There are other things you can do for heavy periods if the cerazete isn't working, go back to your Dr.
