BV and or cervical polyps

I'm trying to figure out whether i have BV or polyps.

Can anyone tell me if they've had polyps in the cervix which were removed which then also made the smell go away?
Did polyps cause painful sex for anyone? (Been dry since Christmas so have no idea)
Ever since giving birth I hardly have any discharge like before, not getting very wet in an erotic way either, but I smell a wet rag like whiff coming from down there.
Also had one little instance of minor bleeding in between a period a few months ago.
Nurse at docs did a smear (i was asking to be retested for HPV in case i had precancerous cervix cells return which were removed 5ish years ago) and said she saw what she thinks is polyps and i might want to ask a doctor to refer me to gynecology.
So weeks later a GP called and begrudgingly said she will refer me.

In the meantime I'm just wondering whether anyone knows whether polyps cause smells and lack of discharge?
I don't think I'm going into early menopause, only 33 and still having regular periods...

Also what's the best course of action for BV? And can it cause lack of discharge?
Not sure whether to try the cream insert thingys, or antibiotics just to see if it goes?

Mum had polyps (plus cancer scare) removed resulting in a full hysterectomy. From what I recall it was in her early 50’s for very heavy periods caused by polyps but my Mum was treated in a different decade and is of the mindset fibroids and polyps don’t cause much other symptoms so I often feel I may as well bang my head against a wall.

I’ve had a horrid smell about 2 weeks ago smelt like pork being cooked and someone said that was bv thanks to the coil which went away on its own after a couple of days fortunately as I’m fed up with buying this and that potion, very much beyond the pill now.
