Lump??

So in the past few year I've put on a bit of weight, probably due to stress and being overwhelmed, depressed at times....

In that time I've noticed a "lump" (dont know what else to call it) that seems to come and go. It's soft and squishy almost like dough, not painful at all, it sits right under my bra line and I don't know what it is. Some angles you can't even see it, I asked my fiancé and he felt both sides of my stomach under my breasts whilst laid down and he said it feels slightly fattier but not like a lump like it looks on photos.

The side its on is under my breast that is bigger, I've always had one slightly bigger than the other so this is not something new...

Is this "lump" just maybe because of how much weight I've put on and my bra is pushing down on that extra fat making it pertrude more??... I've gone from a size 8 to a size 12/14 in the past few years.

Lipoma

Looks like a lipoma, but it would be best for your GP to have a look at it.

Likely to be a lipoma but could also be a hernia ( unlikely in that place though) I’d get your GP to have a look (and show them the photo)

I was seen by a GP who was unable to identify it by touch (she said it was more than likely a lipoma) but is sending me for an ultrasound to be sure. I assume this is standard practice?

My anxiety is through the roof 😭🥺
