Raspberry leaf for periods

Hello

I am aware that raspberry leaf can be used to ease period pain but has anyone used it to speed up a period?

Basically since using sertraline, my cycles are much longer and when my period does start it just drags on (although it is not very heavy). Would rather it was more concise tbh lol. Anyone use it for this purpose?

thanks!

Hi, I know this post was from last year but I just wondered if your cycle went back to normal? I have been on sertraline for 5 weeks but have been bleeding for 3 weeks which is unusual as I have an implant. Thanks

Hi, I never used the raspberry leaf tea.

From what I remember, my period did get back into a normal schedule after some time, maybe 6 weeks or so. They were regular, but still dragged on. Also, I do think it gave me random spotting in between periods, just for a day or two. My GP did refer me for the spotting in between periods and after scans and check nothing unusual was found, so I think it was the sertraline. I'm not on sertraline at the moment and haven't had issues/changes with my menstrual cycle.

It's probably best to speak to a GP about it, as they do like to investigate abnormal bleeding. Good luck!
