I've been dealing with endometriosis since I was a teen, and in order for my periods to become less painful, my gyn suggested an IUD, which I got when I was 17.
I wasn't even sexually active at that time and the insertion was so traumatic and painful I cried, cursed and yelled. Even the worst endo flare up was nothing compared to the pain I had at that time.
Recently there's been this trend on TikTok where women filmed their faces during the insertion of an IUD and it felt actually good seeing that because I never knew it was that painful for other's too.
I'm going for a baby now but I'm pretty sure I'm not switching back to an IUD. Anyone else with the same experience?
