Combined pill choices please

Hi, my dd is currently on a POP but due to irregular and annoying bleeding is asking me about the combined pill

I have looked online at the different available options and I'm so overwhelmed. Our GP is great and tends to ask which drug we would prefer rather than just issue one.

She would prefer to have periods as she feels more secure in knowing she's not pregnant. It's not a major fear but she says she would just prefer it. So we are looking at monthly bleed options.

My questions are:
24 day vs 21 day. 24 day sounds great. Less bleeding. Is this right? Does anyone have any views on why one would take 21 day over 24?

Which brands are 24 day pills?
Do people have views/opinions/experiences on different pills please?

Hi OP, I was on the 21 day pill Cilique for nearly 10 years and never had any issues with it really! I personally had no side effects, you take it for 21 days then have a 7 day break in which you have a withdrawal bleed (like a period but because no egg is released it’s not an actual period it’s withdrawal, same for 24 day pill I believe). I came off it to ttc and now 4 weeks post partum I’m probably going to just go back to the same pill as I had such a good experience of it! X
