Convinced I have cancer

Hi
I'm nearly 35, have 3 children (eldest born by vaginal birth and two youngest born by csections)
My youngest is 1 and since I had her, my periods have been between 23 and 35 days. My periods before were quite erratic, they were never earlier then 30 days before and sometimes I could miss one altogether.
I'm overweight and I have a rectocele prolapse

My last period started 26th April and ended 30th April. I don't have particularly heavy periods and they only usually last 4 days.
Now since I've had my baby, around ovulation time I get quite a bit of the egg white discharge. I know that's normal for ovulation. A couple of times it's looked like it's had a very slight brown tinge. Again I know that's normal.

But last weekend after straining on the toilet (I have ibs and that with a rectocele is difficult!) I had a tiny bit of brown tinged discharge only when I wiped. I wasn't worried then because I thought it could even be left over from my last period.
But on the Monday after straining again, I wiped and it was pink blood, definitely from my vagina.
I've had it a few times a day since then, mainly only when I've wiped but I did get brown blood on the sanitary towel I was wearing once. So I thought my period was starting really early. But it hasn't. I've still got the blood now, it ranges between brown, red and pink.

I went to the Dr's Tuesday and he said probably hormones. He wasn't helpful.
I've got a Dr's appointment with a lady on Monday.

I'm just convinced this is bad. My mum died of breast cancer in 2022 and I reckon I must have cancer too, I feel sure of it.

I do feel a little crampy, my csection scar was aching the other day and now just below it is aching.
This is tmi but I do keep putting my finger up and have been doing it a few times a day since last weekend to see if I'm still bleeding and sometimes there is blood on my finger and sometimes not.
I don't think this has caused the bleeding because I can't even feel my cervix as its too high up.

For context my next smear is June 10th (when its due so its not late) I'm not on any contraception and I'm definitely not pregnant.

Any advice really appreciated because I'm so worried

I think the history with your mum is understandably making what could be "normal" seem much worse.
I do think the likeliness of this being hormone related is very high. See if you can bring your smear test earlier. And I would refrain from keeping checking for blood, the anxiety from it will likely make things worse.

Erratic periods and spotting midcycle really does suggest something is out of sync with your hormones op, possibly pcos which can become more likely with weight gain.

A polyp gave me the same symptoms as you, at the same age as you.
Try not to worry, but get it checked.

I was going to say cervical polyp too - I get them. It’s worth getting the go to have a look.

Thank you for all your replies.
My mum dying of cancer is definitely making me more convinced I have it. I do have health anxiety and I have for years but I just feel like this time it's so obvious I have it.
I'm still bleeding, it's like a light period, mainly there when I wipe but I do think I've irritated myself because no I keep getting shooting pains down there too. I definitely won't check again. Hopefully the doctor can examine me on Monday xxx
