I used to only get pain during my period. Om now getting pain after my period.
My period was over two weeks ago, I've had the most awful cramps and pain every day after my period finished. Like period pains but worse. Every day. My period is over yet im having awful cramps and pain. The pain is awful. My stomach is also really swollen.
This has only happened for the last couple of months.
I've gone to the doctor about this before and he sent me to a+e to get an abdominal scan. The male doctor scanned me and said that they thought I had slow digestion and backed up fecal matter and he gave me medication to help that.
However I'm sure my abdominal pain is due to something to do with my womb as I'm getting very bad period pains after my period is over. He didn't check for that.
The pain is very bad this time. I've now booked to pay privately for a pelvic scan at a women's health centre tomorrow.
I'm just wondering has anyone else had period pains after their period was over, and what was the cause?
