Mini-pill: Cerazette vs Noriday

Ladies! I've been on Cerazette for early 2 months and the constant bleeding is relentless and really really messing with my mood and MH (and is such a mood killer in a new relationship!) I spoke to the local
Clinic and they suggested switching to Noriday on the basis that there is a "high likelihood" it will fix the bleeding. I also have a backup appointment for the Mirena IUS in a couple of months in case I can't sort all this out.
So, has anyone switched from one to another for bleeding reasons?
I am fully aware of the shorter window to take the Noriday; that doesn't bother me a lot all. But the bleeding does and I am a little worried I am just jumping from one to another with same result!

I was on Cerazette pre-children 15 years ago and don't remember any issues but I guess our bodies change as we get older (I'm early forties now!)

I switched to noriday from cerazette and the bleeding stopped right away. But was still ovulating and normal period etc. They said noriday is unlikely to stop ovulation etc (which for me comes with horrendous pain so i was trying to avoid ovulation so noriday not good in that department). Give it a try if no issues in your cycles like me

I have mirena coil now tho

Oh that sound really encouraging! Thank you for posting. I switched a few days ago so fingers crossed. I also suffer bad ovulation pains so completely get why you’d like to stop it. But I’d much rather ovulate and have regular periods than constant bleeding as on the Cerazette.
I also have an appointment in 6 weeks for the Mirena coil. If Noriday doesn’t work then I’ll go ahead with that.
How has that worked out for you so far?

Well i had laparoscopy same time as having the mirena so cant tell yet really , only been 2 weeks x everyone around me, including doctors I've seen, say they have it and no problems at all.
Generally just spotting for now but could be from either things ..nothing like cerazette tho! And dont get the anxiety i had from cerazette either
Hope noriday gives u 6 weeks break before your mirena!
