I have had a 5x5x4cm cyst found on my ovary after complaining of pain and bloating.
It's described as "uniocular avascular cyst with heterogenous internal echoes"
I've been referred to gynecologist for further tests including ca125 test.
I'm freaking out - my grandmother died of ovarian cancer. I'm also recovering at present from surgery to remove two tumors from my neck - I can't believe I've found something else (I put stomach aches down to stress 🙁)
I'm so worried - does anyone understand the description of my cyst? Is this description indicative of it being something more sinister than a usual cyst - as I know they are quite common.
Any advice / info much appreciated
