Genital warts

I'm mid forties and my first genital wart appeared a few months ago.

I'm undecided about what to do about it. It says they often resolve themselves after 6 months to 2 years. It's on my outer skin so I've just been covering it with a plaster.

Anyone had experience of them resolving by themselves in a reasonable timeframe?

Any update? In the same position where they keep coming back and it's really taking a toll

@ForBreezyPlumFox I got cryo once at the GUM clinic. It formed a scab which dropped off and is completely gone since. I have a patch of whiter skin where it was.
The cryo was fine. Just a bit sensitive for a short time after.

Hi, I have had none in my vagina and around my vulva now for around for around 6 months which is good but I did have a couple appear around my anal opening. I think they must have transferred there through wiping as I have never had any kind of anal intercourse. one has already cleared up but I can still feel the remaining one when I wipe, it only feels small so I have decided to leave it alone to clear on its own. hopefully when it does il never have a recurrence. The aldara cream worked very well and quickly for me.
