So it's been 48 hours since I had one fitted. All fine at the time and only bit of spotting.
Last night I couldn't sleep properly because my skin was so itchy ! I got up and fully expected to be covered head to toe in a rash but there was hardly anything. Where I had been scratching was lumpy under the surface though especially around my abdomen. I think that's from scratching.
I've taken some anti histamines to try and reduce the itchiness. It's not made much difference tbh.
When I've looked this evening there's definite red patches around my abdomen. It shared to be in the area where I presume my ovaries are?
The leaflet says that itchy skin is uncommon so less than 1 in 100 and I think it's too much of a coincidence to be anything else. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm hoping it will settle in a couple of days.
