IBS? Endo? Who knows?

Just looking for some thoughts really.

For about 6 weeks I have been suffering from a degree of constipation. I am still going to the loo, but when I do it is uncomfortable and like 'pebble poo'. Around two periods ago, I also experienced really severe cramps, painful abdomen and painful gas alongside pain in my lower back and tops of thighs. Went to GP who took a urine sample from me, ordered bloods, gave me a FIT test and referred me for a transvaginal ultrasound which I eventually had last week, ALL of which have come back as negative/normal.

Obviously I am really pleased about this, but it still doesn't account for the symptoms I am experiencing. My last period wasn't so painful as I made sure I dosed up with pain relief before it could get a hold of me, but the lower back pain and toilet issues continue to affect me on an almost daily basis. For background, I am 40 and was sterilised almost 2 years ago. I've thought it could be the onset of IBS, endo or bowel endo, but obviously actually have no idea!

Of course I plan to go back to the GP, as this was advised if my symptoms persisted, but until I can get an appointment, I just wondered if anyone had any similar experiences/thoughts on what it could be.

Thanks so much for reading x
