I'm looking for any advice of shared experiences before booking a gp appointment. I came off the mini pill due to constant spotting. It was pretty much constant when I was on it. I know it takes a while to settle down but was making me miserable. Once's finished, the spotting has continued and it been almost 3 weeks now. It lightens up and the starts again. I was hanging on for my period to kick in, with hope it will then stop. Has anyone experienced such a long withdrawal bleed? I'm 45 and do have fibroids.
