Another smear result

I went for a colposcopy last month after positive hpv with low grade dyskaryosis.

Results back today biopsy showing moderate changes known as koilocytosis, CIN 2 with acute inflammation.
They will review the findings at colposcopy mdt meeting to decide if I need treatment.

Has anyone else had this result?

I've already had lletz before for cin 1-2 approximately 2 years ago but this sounds a bit more advanced 😢

Hi Seagull, I ended up having a 2nd lletz treatment which seems to have cleared the abnormal cells..for now.

I'll be due a follow up smear end of December so will see if my body has been able to maintain it this time round.
