Green crystals and odd periods

I had a c section in 2022. My periods returned to normal about 9 months post partum, every 28-30 days, however the last 4 or so months I've been having a full period every 20 days, I am also bleeding between them. I put it down to hormones but started to get a bit anxious and had my normal scheduled smear test and was even bleeding then but got a clear negative result thankfully. Was also tested for other bacterias and all were clear. Has anyone had this before? Zero chance of sti or pregnancy

I don't know if it's related but during my c sevtion the doctor stopped as i lay there cut open. He paged for another doctor because he found a green crystal like substance inside floating around. Could it be related, anyone know what they could be? The other doctor came in and they were removed and all carried on. Nothing was said but midwife said she'd never seen it either. It was described as a small amount of green crystals

Did they not send a sample to the lab for testing or anything? Maybe contact the hospital (PALS?) and ask someone for clarification/results.

Re the change in periods, speak to the GP, underlying things like thyroid issues can cause period changes, as can Peri which can start earlier than you’d imagine.

I don't know anything about the crystals, but sounds like you might need a scan to check whether there's anything going on in your uterus, could be a polyp or thickening of the lining.

No to sample testing! I might contact midwives for a debrief and ask. I don't think the two are related but you never know. Thank you for the advice. I've contacted the gp this morning and am awaiting to hear back
