Post menopausal bleeding - referral delay

I've had bleeding twice before and have been referred and seen promptly. Last time was 3 years ago. Had biopsy and it was all clear.

I have since moved, now in Wales. Went to GP 12 days ago as I'd started bleeding quite heavily and they said they'd refer me and I'd get an appointment within 2 weeks.

As I hadn't heard anything I called the clinic and was told the referral had been triaged and my appointment would be late May.

I've gone back to the GP surgery to query this, but was wondering if anyone else has experienced a delay like this. Understandably I'm feeling quite anxious about it.

I've now been told you don't get seen within 2 weeks if you are on HRT 🤷‍♀️

@IPartridge how are you getting on now? I experienced Post Menopausal bleeding on Sunday saw GP yesterday. She said I would be seen within two weeks also on HRT. 8 years since last period. After GP appointment last night I am bleeding more and the blood is brighter and more than on Sunday/Monday morning. I also feel nauseous and my tummy is quite sore like heavy period pains was this similar to your experience? Thanks
