Coil fitted today

Hi all. I'm getting the merina coil fitted today under GA .
Has anyone done thjs under GA? Will I be released quickly afterwards?
What can I expect over the next couple of days please and what should I avoid doing?

They'll tell you what to avoid when you get there. Yes you'll be able to go home once you've had a wee and some food. Possible spotting and cramping over the next few days.

Yes, hell given no answers at all under GA. It’s a lead why I want to be fully awake during the next ‘camera test’ no matter what hell I’ll be going through I don’t want to be under sedation and not remember whole thing.
received no answers except the lead citing 10 mins before he the gynae consultant never met didn’t think this a fibroid on Monday 4th March 2924. It is not what you want to hear 10 mins before surgery. It’s been a whole year of my life thinking a bowel thing was gynae.

My GP just looked shocked when I said here is confirmation a fibroid exists that the West Suffolk-hospital so told me 4th March doesn’t exist.

Not had one under GA but I've had 4 copper coils
I always book the day off work after as I get some quite bad cramping and prefer to be watching Netflix with a hot water bottle! After that I'm fine
