Hormones?

I'm still breastfeeding my 15 month old and am happy to continue until at least 2 as I did with my other babies. But lately I've been having really horrible symptoms which I am wondering if it is related to hormone changes due to less breastfeeding as my son has got older. I haven't had my period back yet so wondering if it could be my body getting ready for that. But the last week I haven't been able to get any breastmilk for my little one..my body just won't release anything. I keep waking up with butterflies in my stomach, upset tummy about 3 times in the morning, headaches, low mood, no appetite etc. It doesn't feel like me at all and is so sudden. Does this sound like hormones? It improves a bit as the day goes on but it is just awful. Can hormones do this? Or does it sound like mental illness or a physical illness? Just strange that overnight my milk is struggling too alongside these symptoms when just days ago everything was fine.

Are you still drinking a glass of water every time you feed, and eating well with plenty of protein?
I think that as baby grows you forget that you’re still feeding another person too.

Not to panic you but this sounds familiar to me as what happened when I got pregnant whilst breastfeeding. Milk just dried up. Worth taking a test if you're feeling like that as you could still have ovulated even if periods haven't returned yet.
