Basically got bloods done 8 weeks ago. Iron. 7. Ferritin. 9. Hgb 115. Prescribed Iron. Been taking them most days but forgetting a few. Heavy periods 6months postpartum. 1 litre blood lost at delivery.
Bloods retested yesterday. Called today and told to stop. Levels from receptionist (all I could ask before she's thinking will you go away) we're. Iron 52!!!! Ferritin. Unsure didn't tell me as she couldnt see. Hgb 138. Trans saturation 88.5%. Retest in 3 months. I don't want to spend 3 months waiting anything I can do to help. Any tips? Or should I be concerned?
I can't say I feel any different from normal/low levels/high levels. Generally tired with a 6month old. Lol.
