Hi all
i had dark brown discharge mid cycle during ovulation last month and along with abdominal pain right side I went to GP , she referred me for the 2 week urgent and I’m going out of my mind/. She said my cervix looked red and inflamed .
side note : I had a baby 4 month ago by c section
my last smear was actually last month and came back as clear and next recall 3 years time! ( despite being mild cell changes the year before)
anyone has anything similar ??? Going out my mind with worry

Hi, do you have an update? Have you been seen by now?

I am currently going through the same. Colposcopy is scheduled for Thursday after GP saw my cervix was inflamed after I went in due to spotting and cramping.

I was told by a nurse mine was inflammed.
i had a hysteroscopy two weeks after this (not due to the inflammation, but due to irregular bleeding) and the consultant said my cervix was normal so who knows. Smears normal too. Coil fitted and stilllll spotting though.

Just wondering if you've had any updates?

I also have had a lot of spotting aswel as cramps, dull aches and bloating.

Been referred for a smear as my cervix looked red and inflamed.

Hi,

Thankfully nothing too sinister. My cervix was inflamed at the site where I had LLETZ done 4 years ago. They put some silver nitrate on the area and hopefully that should stop any bleeding.

I also had a hysteroscopy done, that also came back totally fine. No need for a biopsy from the cervix or uterus.

I had an ultrasound a month ago where a polyp was identified, sometimes these can cause mid-cylce cramps and bleeding and I am due for another pelvic ultrasound in June to check up on it.

The cramping and pressure I experienced has thankfully stopped, hopefully yours will stop in no time too 🤞 best of luck to you x
