Bladder endometriosis

2 weeks ago I had a laparoscopy to diagnose and treat endometriosis. During surgery they found I also had a 8cm cyst on my ovary and endoemtriosis on my bladder. Wondering if anyone else has had the same re endometriosis of the bladder? I hadn't noticed any issues with my bladder but do suffer a lot of bowel issues.

I also had a mirena coil inserted. My pain levels had died down but the past 2 days I have had cramps that feel like period cramps. Not due on my period for another week. Is this normal? Just find it strange that the pain subsided and then came back again.

Not me, but a close friend growing up. She was constantly having UTI symptoms, treated for UTIs, urine results were often normal but they still assumed it was a UTI. She had a scope inside the bladder which showed nothing. Eventually referred to a neurologist as told it was all in her head!!! 😳
Years later she had a laparoscopy which showed endo on the outside of her bladder. She has 3 kids now.
OP- did they check to see if you have any endo on your intestines- hence the bowel issues? Did they burn the bladder endo off or what did they do?

@CJ0374 thanks for the response, according to Google it is very rare! I'm well used to gaslighting aswell as I've been told it was all in my head also. I am unsure how they removed the endometriosis as when they came in to speak to me I was still very loopy from the GA but I have a follow up appointment where I will find out. They didnt check my intestines. Would this also be done by laparoscopy?

@CJ0374 I have 2 children and told it couldn't be endometriosis as it usually disappears after having children.
