Big relief following private scan but question about blood flow

Hi,

I’m so glad I had the private scan today - liver, gallbladder kidneys all fine. Coil in correct position.

They saw a fibroid the nhs said disappeared, I’m ok with it, and the better news is in the left ovary signs of peri menopause, right ovary view hidden by Henry the fibroid.

My question can you get a long lasting period before they disappear for the 12 months to confirm meno.

The sonographer said to give the coil more time and try to preserve so I wonder if I should purchase the acid to stop the flow which has now gone on 6 days, I’m just curious if this long lasting bleed which is quite unusual for me so wondering if it is the sign of the periods about to stop.

Oh lord Dad saying I look 10 years younger. My parents have become like the 10 year old me who started my periods suddenly I’m so lucky, my poor folks as Mum argued in Nov 23 if it wasn’t the change. Thank you Mum, Dad and the sonographer today xx
