Small soft lumps on areolas

I’m 5 weeks PP (2nd baby) and for as long as I can remember, whenever I’ve gotten cold or my nipples harden I get 2 small(ish) lumps on my areola under my nipples. The left one is always slightly bigger because that’s the only one I could breastfeed baby 2 from (lasted 2 weeks).

They’re not there when I’m not cold, I’ve triple checked. And I can get rid of them by massaging them away. They’re moveable and squishy.

I’m seeing my GP Monday but wanted to ask if anyone had experienced similar?

I get them too. Dr said mine were blocked milk ducts.

I think they are mini glands They appear when your nipples are erect because you're about to breastfeed or if you're cold and as far as I know their purpose is to lubricate the area. As always, if you have a concern its best to consult a medical professional
