Almost constant hormonal type pain in breasts and tingling - does this need checking?

I am experiencing the type of hormonal pain/heaviness in my breasts (mostly right but a little on the left too) as well as sensitive nipples. I always used got get this around when my period is due but now it seems to be so much more often. I think I am around ovulation and am really uncomfortable. Does this need checking?

I can’t find a lump and there is no changes in skin or appearance, just almost constant strange tingly/burning sensations. It’s hard to explain. I am almost 42 in case that’s relevant.

I had this when I was 42/43. I had 2 whole months, every day, where my breasts felt like they did when I was due on - heavy, sore, achy. By the time I got to see a GP it had stopped (typical!) but they said to just take a supplement- can't remember what, I'm guessing when I say evening primrose? Didn't take it as the pain had stopped.

I didn't realise it then but looking back it was definitely linked to the start of perimenopause as it was roundabout then that I first missed a period. I'm now very nearly 50, had breast pain this month (due on) which took me by surprise and made me realise I've not had that pain for a couple of years now (still having irregular periods though).

Make a GP appointment to have a chat and see what they say.

I’m experiencing this. Am 40 and recently noticed slightly sore achy breasts. More so on the right. Have also been checking for lumps and not felt anything. I also think it’s worse around ovulation! Assuming it’s an early perimenopause sign.

I have this! Left breast only, tingling type of sensation and burning nipple. I’m 44. There’s no lumps or inflammation. I’m assuming it’s perimenopause symptom.
