Spotting during ovulation

Does anyone else get cm mixed with spotting around the week of ovulation?

I’m feeling deflated, i used to have alot of out of cycle bleeding, which was put down to endometriosis, I then had the endo removed last May. Afterwards I went on the pill and had persistent spotting, so stopped taking it in December. Since then I’ve been great, no spotting in between periods and average-ish periods (this month was a little shorter -23 days) but I’m on day 8 now and i have the usual ovulation cm but yesterday and today it’s been mixed with blood! I thought this random persistent bleeding was a thing of the past. Just hoping it’s a one off and it’ll stop. Anyone have anything similar? Can this just be a one off or just a day or two with ovulation?

I usually get a bit of spotting during ovulation and more pain often than on my period. Actually I find ovulation worse all round with huge mood swings, soreness and gross amounts of CM.

@Arrestedmanevolence yes I feel quite shotty around ovulation. Just dull aches and bloating, moody and anxious!

Yes it is a totally normal symptom of ovulation. It happens for me occasionally and my gp says it’s very common. Obviously if it happens at other times of the month you need to get it investigated but very normal during ovulation.

And I feel grotty during ovulation too (and the week leading up to it.)

Yep spotting here too. I hate ovulating, it's much worse than my actual period. Bloating, pelvic pain, spotting, feeling sick... yuk.

yes I also feel sick. Feeling nauseous right now 🤪 what are hormones doing to us. Jeez.

Mind me asking how old you are? Mega ovulation symptoms have kicked in for me in the last few months, and I'm 41 in March.
I was fine around ovulation 6 months ago and suddenly I'm not!
