Hormonal scalp issues - don’t know where to turn next!

Just wondering if anyone has had any similar issues, don’t know where to turn next!!
I have suffered with my skin/scalp for years, I was on roaccutane in 2018 to help with acne which it did clear my skin however I am no further forward with my itchy, scabby, flaky, red scalp! Whilst on roaccutane my scalp cleared up but coming off it, the problems returned. I was prescribed beta cap by the doctor but it didn’t touch it, doctor advised head and shoulders again this didn’t work. I fell pregnant in 2020 and my scalp cleared up whilst pregnant but the issues returned not long after I had my daughter. Again, fell pregnant in 2023 and had my son in February this year no scalp issues for 9 months but 5 weeks post partum and the issues have returned.
Has anyone had anything similar and found something that worked for them?

I had itchy head issues for a couple of years (meno & HRT so hormonal) you have my sympathy, it’s been hell. I’ve been through a lot of shampoos!

Nizorel for the, I think, two weeks as per directions then I switched to Moo Goo shampoo and As I Am Itchy shampoo which have been brilliant. I do still occasionally use Nizorel shampoo, maybe one or twice a month just as a preventative, but I find the SLS/paraben free shampoo’s work better than head & shoulders, t-gel etc.

Could be psoriasis? I have it and my scalp got worse after giving birth. The doctor said it's usually worst around the hairline.

I use Capasal shampoo (prescription or over the counter) which helps keep it under control
