Canesflor discontinued - any BV advice?

I get recurrent BV every single month (even though I now barely have a period due to Mirena) and when I have sex. This has been a problem for a long time (also before Mirena) and I have always treated it with Canesflor vaginal probiotics, which work like a dream. I have just discovered that they have been discontinued and I wondered if anyone had any advice for other products. I don't want to get antibiotics as I have heard that the BV will come back regardless. Many thanks.

Sorry I don't have an answer but I rely on these too, do you know why they are discontinued?

No, I have no idea. I've found something similar by Biocare so I'm going to try those. Good luck, it's a horrible thing to deal with all the time.

I'd advise trying one course of antibiotics as although it does return in 50% of women it's worth a try. I had a 7 day course of metronidazole and haven't had it again in 20 years. If you prefer probiotics there are the oral optibac for women intimate health.

I'm hoping studies like this may find a permanent solution for the poor women who constantly have to deal with bv xxx
