Period 3 months after breastfeeding - cramps

Hey,

I stopped breastfeeding quite abruptly 3 months ago. My periods went straight into a 28 day cycle, albeit heavier and longer.

This month though I have had some milk discharge when my period started (Dr said this is normal) and I've had some overy and cervix cramps throughout my cycle. Weirdly the cramps were better while on my period.

I spoke to a doctor and she said it sounds like my body is just getting back to usual. Has anyone else had random midcycle cramps for several months post breastfeeding? They feel very similar to lightning crotch or a pain coming from my overies or cervix.

I want to ttc in 2 months and don't want any hurdles as my journey to motherhood has not been an easy one by any means

Midcycle is probably ovulation? Lots of mums including me say after having children they can feel ovulation even worse than period..hope thats not the case for you too 😣track if it happens the same days every month...
