Thyroid lump

hello, I went to the GP on Friday as I have lost 3/4 of a stone in weight, bleeding for over 4 weeks, dizzy spells, no energy and back pain etc. They sent me home with 2 swabs and I am awaiting blood tests but the next available appointment was on the 19th of April. At the weekend i got the feeling that I had a lump in my throat I felt around and I felt something very hard sticking out of my throat when I looked it looked like a pea sized lump, when i swallow it moves up and down and then looks 10x bigger, i have got in touch with the doctors today but now I am starting to think what if it's just a bone and they just laugh at my stupidity, just wondering if anyone else ended up having cysts or any other lump on their thyroid what they felt like etc? I haven't noticed this ever before and it is rather noticeable when looking at me but now I am starting to think if its just a bone sticking out I am going to look so silly. TIA
