Missing period!

I usually have a pretty regular cycle of 27-29 days, however this month my period is 5 days late. I’ve done 2 pregnancy tests, both of which were negative, haven’t been ill or stressed, haven’t had any recent covid jabs which I’ve read can affect cycles and I’m only 34 so would like to think I’m not perimenopausal!

We were planning on starting to TTC baby number 2 in the next couple of months so I’m having a slight panic that this might indicate there’s something wrong. Has anyone had a really late/missed period and gone on to conceive afterwards without too much difficulty?

Sometimes your body just resets for no reason. Anything can make your reproductive system chuck a wobbler. Maybe the thoughts of TTC could do it.

I wouldn't worry about one. It'll probably come unexpected and be a bit of a crime scene for a bit going on past experience.

This has happened to be a couple of times.

It's often just a blip in hormones, and it can be totally normal. As PP said, it was almost like a reset and will probably arrive in massacre style.

Doctors said 3 consecutively missed periods will need to be investigated. X
