Abnormal bleeding

I'm mid 30s. Regular periods, no contraception. Always had normal smears.
Married, been with husband 6 years

We had sex last night and this morning I woke up and noticed a lot of blood in the toilet. I've continued to have heavy bleeding all day. No bleeding at the time of sex and no pain.

I've never had any abnormal bleeding. Minimal bleeding after babies and periods have always been very tolerable. Definitely not a period, I'm currently mid cycle. It's constantly dripping out of me, fresh red blood. No other symptoms. Maybe a dull mild pelvic discomfort at a push.

Freaking out a bit. Obviously I will go to the GP on sat but wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?

I was about to say it could be an irritated cervix after sex but if it’s fresh and you’re continually filling pads then I would contact 111 and check in for some
advice

I've just got this niggling feeling that something bad is causing it 😢

Hopefully it’s nothing and maybe just an irregular period but if you’ve got heavy bleeding then I’d double check. Hope you’re not in any pain!

Could be fibroids, but I would definitely get it checked out.
