I have had 3 section 25+ years ago.
I had a hysteroscopy today and it was finalised that I will have a hysterectomy at the same cut

since my sections I have terrible overhang. Will this be repaired or made better in any way.
it can’t possibly get any worse.

thank you

Unlikely as this is considered a cosmetic procedure.

thank you for your reply
i I don’t mean a tummy tuck
i just me will the scar be tighter and maybe pull a bit of my overhang.

I should think they'll just sew it back up; I don't see how they could pull it tighter without causing you pain. Hope your hysterectomy goes well - mine really changed my life for the better.

They just sew you back up.
I have a small overhang as a result of the hysterectomy!

Best of luck.

Ah thank you so mych
i had a hystroscopy yesterday I have large fibroids 16 cm and my uterus is full of them
they originally said they would have to cut length ways up to my breast bone
but after the investigation yesterday they said a bikini cut
so I’m thinking flat tummy and getting rid of my over hang
too much wishful thinking 😂🤣

With all due respect you really wouldn't want a non-plastic surgeon to do a cosmetic procedure, especially not something as complex as an abdominoplasty.
