Since my last period which was unusually painful, I have been experiencing a band of lower back pain, pain in the tops of my thighs (aching), shooting pains in my ovary area, wind and constipation.
I went to the GP last week who examined me and said everything she could feel seemed fine, but that she would refer me for a transvaginal ultrasound scan and ordered some blood tests. She was very thorough but didn't seem concerned.
For info, I am 40 years old and was sterilised almost 2 years ago.
I have no idea what the current waiting times are for the ultrasound scan and I am just worrying myself into a frenzy, probably completely unnecessarily.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar/can offer any sensible words to calm me down! TIA.
